Currently, there are three layers of Taxi Insurance cover available:
Third-Party Only
This is the Minimum Legal requirement stipulated and upheld by law. Thus, covering you against any loss or any damage that you may inflict upon others.
Third-Party Fire & Theft
This includes protection and assurance if your vehicle is taken or is subject to a Fire, this is in addition to Third-Party only cover.
Comprehensive Cover
As mentioned above, but supplementary cover to incorporate any damage occurred on/to your own vehicle.
Public Liability
This covers you for up to and including £10 Million Public Liability.
Motor Legal Expenses
Cover for up to £100,000 of legal assistance.
Breakdown Cover
Roadside recovery across the United Kingdom. Home start cover upon request, European cover provided upon request.
Total Loss Vehicle Lease
Lease of vehicle should you incur a Total loss claim. However, if a Total loss claim should happen due to an involuntary/purposeful fire, vandalism/theft or an accident (which is deemed to be your fault) then a hire vehicle will not be given.
Excess Protection
If you currently have a high excess on your vehicle insurance policy you can choose to acquire an Excess protection policy.
Gap Insurance
A Gap insurance policy will prevent you from incurring a financial loss if your vehicle is written off.
